Godrej Properties (up 3.96 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 3.81 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.63 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.37 per cent) and SOBHA (up 0.93 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty (down 1.19 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.16 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 0.19 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.53 per cent at 410.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 23.4 points at 17373.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 192.19 points at 58683.12.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
