Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of NDTV, Amrutanjan Healt, Clean Science & Technology Ltd., Seamec Ltd and Share India Sec, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 165.1 points up at 17562.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., Shanti Overseas (Ind, Generic Engg, Intnl Conveyors and CarTrade Tech Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while Maruti Suzuki, BPCL, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and Nestle India ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 363.81 points up at 58854.74.

Traders piled up positions in Diversified, Rubber, Tobacco, Airlines and General sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT – Hardware, Petrochemicals, Power, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
