NEW DELHI: Zee Ent. (Rs. 6189.04 crore), DLF (Rs. 1525.45 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1448.28 crore), ITC (Rs. 1280.18 crore), RIL (Rs. 1231.34 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 1174.93 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 1168.39 crore), Godrej Properties (Rs. 1118.67 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 1074.34 crore) and MindTree (Rs. 1060.76 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 15.35 points down at 17546.65, while BSE Sensex fell 77.94 points to 58927.33.
In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd. (up 3.64 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.55 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 2.70 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.66 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.90 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (down 1.43 per cent), Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.31 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.26 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd. (down 1.19 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
