Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 400.34 points up at 60285.70 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, RMC Switchgears (down 19.88 per cent), Transglobe Foods (down 19.12 per cent), CFSL Ltd. (down 10.00 per cent), Gautam Exim (down 9.97 per cent) and Radhey Trade Holding (down 9.97 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 104.85 points up at 17927.8.

On the BSE, Transglobe Foods, Superior Finlease, Purple Entertainment, Priya Ltd and Jonjua Overseas hit their fresh 52-week lows, while KPR Mill, Sansera Engineering Ltd., Gujarat Alkalie, Cospower Engg and Saksoft Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs.
