NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 33.65 crore), Tata Motors (numbers of share traded: 5.63 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 5.48 crore), Zee Ent. (numbers of share traded: 4.77 crore), Indian Hotels (numbers of share traded: 4.22 crore), Rollatainers Ltd (numbers of share traded: 4.09 crore), GMR Infra (numbers of share traded: 3.70 crore), ONGC (numbers of share traded: 3.42 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 3.42 crore) and PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.38 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 1.9 points up at 17855.1, while BSE Sensex ended up 29.41 points at 60077.88.
On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 4.64 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 3.45 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 3.34 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 3.32 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 2.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
