Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Tuesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, SBL Infratech Ltd.(12.61%), Future Consumer (12.39%), Mafatlal Ind(12.0%), Confidence Petro(11.93%), RDB Realty(11.17%), Saint Gobain Sek(10.33%), Cosco(India)(10.3%), Perfectpac Ltd(10.0%), Cranex Ltd(10.0%) and Ashish Poly(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 410.28 points down at 59667.6, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 106.5 points down at 17748.6.

In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks ended in the green, while 30 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as NTC Industries, Novateor Research, Vaksons Automobiles, Brahmaputra Inf and SBL Infratech Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Scanpoint Geo(PP), MAC Hotels, Meglon InfraReal, Shanti Educational and Superior Finlease touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
