NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 10.74 points up at 60088.62 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Centenial Surg(down 10.00 per cent), Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd.(down 8.25 per cent), Neil Industries(down 7.13 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 6.28 per cent) and Martin Burn(down 6.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 20.25 points up at 17875.35.
On the BSE, Neil Industries, Superior Finlease, Jain Marmo Indus, Atreya Petro and Wagend Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while SBL Infratech Ltd., Stove Kraft Ltd., Surana Telecom, NTC Industries and Navneet Education touched their fresh 52-week highs.
