These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, TCI Finance(14.97%), Innovative Ideals(14.0%), Akashdeep Metal(13.11%), PTC India(13.04%), Max Ventures Ind(13.02%), BGR Energy(12.63%), Akme Star Housing(12.6%), Orbit Exports(11.92%), Jetmall Spices and Masala Ltd.(11.42%) and Raw Edge Industrial(11.27%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 254.33 points down at 59413.27, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 37.3 points down at 17711.3.
In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks ended in the green, while 22 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Simmonds Marsh, Akashdeep Metal, PTC India, Max Ventures Ind and Arvind SmartSpaces hit their fresh 52-week high, while MAC Hotels, Naapbooks Ltd., Arman Holdings, Purple Entertainment and Superior Finlease touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
