Triveni Engineering & Industries(up 4.76%), BAJAJHIND(up 4.50%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 3.73%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 2.51%), Mawana Sugars(up 2.47%), K.M.Sugar Mills(up 2.22%), Sakthi Sugars(up 2.02%), Rana Sugars(up 1.86%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 1.52%) and Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 1.47%) were among the top gainers.
Bannari Amman Sugars(down 1.65%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(down 0.97%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 0.26%) and EID Parry(down 0.07%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 115.2 points down at 17633.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 491.67 points at 59175.93 at around 11:24AM.
Coal India(up 8.22%), NTPC(up 5.68%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 3.75%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.48%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.93%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.31%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.82%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.79%), Cipla(up 0.77%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.46%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 2.17%), ICICI Bank(down 2.04%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.49%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.46%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.44%), HDFC Bank(down 1.41%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.33%), Wipro(down 1.28%), HDFC(down 1.27%) and Asian Paints(down 1.17%) were trading in the red.
