NEW DELHI: Shares of domestic auto major gained 2.2% in early Mumbai trading on Monday after the company said its national wholesale volume shot up 26% on year to 55,988 units in September.
In September 2020, the company’s sales to dealers stood at 44,410 units.
At 10:15 hours (IST), Tata Motor’s shares traded at Rs 340.70, up 2.2% from previous close.
The company on Friday said its total passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market rose to 25,730 units in September from 21,199 units in the same period last year.
According to a release by the company, commercial vehicle sales stood at 30,258 units in September, up 30% from a year ago.
