NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 445.56 points up at 59744.88 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Agrimony Comdts.(down 19.11 per cent), Tarini International(down 17.28 per cent), Navigant Corporate A(down 15.66 per cent), Bothra Metals(down 9.90 per cent) and Raghuvansh Agrofarm(down 9.88 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 131.05 points up at 17822.3.
On the BSE, Nova Pub, Purple Entertainment, SBL Infratech Ltd., Sun Retail and Milgrey Finance hit their fresh 52-week lows, while IFL Enterprises, G M Breweries, Arvind Fashions, Patel Eng and IG Petrochem touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
