The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 445.56 points up at 59744.88, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 131.05 points up at 17822.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as IFL Enterprises, G M Breweries, Arvind Fashions, Patel Eng and IG Petrochem hit their fresh 52-week high, while Nova Pub, Purple Entertainment, SBL Infratech Ltd., Sun Retail and Milgrey Finance touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
