NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.24 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.85 crore), ICICI Lombard(number of shares traded: 1.81 crore), Reliance Comm(number of shares traded: 1.12 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 0.64 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.61 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.44 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 0.43 crore), Bharti Airtel(number of shares traded: 0.42 crore) and MFL India(number of shares traded: 0.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.9 points down at 17690.35, while BSE Sensex was down 32.19 points at 59267.13 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 7.99 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 3.32 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(up 3.29 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Cipla Ltd.(down 2.63 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.78 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
