Dabur India(down 1.30%), Nakoda Group(down 0.76%), P & G Hygiene(down 0.55%), Britannia Industries(down 0.43%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.41%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.37%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 0.26%), Emami(down 0.15%), Dangee Dums(down 0.08%) and Varun Beverages(down 0.03%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 10.75 points down at 17680.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 55.72 points at 59243.6 at around 10:14AM.
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 6.71%), Coal India(up 3.08%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.14%), UPL Ltd(up 1.58%), Asian Paints(up 1.36%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.32%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.95%), Eicher Motors(up 0.82%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.77%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.68%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Cipla(down 2.48%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.4%), HCL Technologies(down 1.09%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.02%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.99%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.93%), ICICI Bank(down 0.91%), Infosys(down 0.76%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.68%) and Wipro(down 0.68%) were trading in the red.
