Ashapura Minechem(up 3.19%), Coal India(up 3.19%), Oriental Trimex(up 1.82%), KIOCL(up 1.68%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 1.03%), Aro Granite Industries(up 1.02%), Pokarna(up 0.48%), MOIL(up 0.33%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.27%) and Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 0.26%) were among the top gainers.
NMDC Ltd(down 1.08%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 8.55 points up at 17699.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 9.39 points at 59308.71 at around 10:29AM.
Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 7.22%), Coal India(up 3.19%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.89%), UPL Ltd(up 1.83%), Tata Motors(up 1.36%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.34%), Asian Paints(up 1.18%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.12%), Eicher Motors(up 1.06%) and Maruti Suzuki(up 0.96%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Cipla(down 2.81%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 1.77%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.3%), Shree Cement(down 1.15%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.09%), ICICI Bank(down 0.84%), Tech Mahindra(down 0.79%), HCL Technologies(down 0.77%), Wipro(down 0.69%) and Infosys(down 0.65%) were trading in the red.
