These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, TBZ(13.8%), Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd.(13.07%), Manaksia Coated(12.77%), Arvind SmartSpaces(12.75%), BDH Industries(12.52%), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(12.46%), HB Estate Dev(12.08%), Tata Motors(12.02%), Prime Property(11.4%) and Madhav Marbles(11.24%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 488.1 points up at 59677.83, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 144.35 points up at 17790.35.
In the Nifty 50 index, 33 stocks ended in the green, while 17 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Polymech Mac, Aban Offshore, Best Agrolife, Taylormade Renewable and Kirloskar Elec hit their fresh 52-week high, while Lerthai Finance, SBL Infratech Ltd., Kiran Print Pack, Shukra Jewellery and Purple Entertainment touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
