Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 144.35 points up at 17790.35, while the BSE Sensex closed 488.1 points up at 59677.83.
On the other hand, Best Agrolife, Aban Offshore, Kirloskar Elec, TheBykeHospitality and Beta Drugs stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Titan Company, M&M, Maruti Suzuki and Eicher Motors were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, ONGC, Dr. Reddys, Coal India Ltd, Britannia and HDFC were among the top losers of the day.
