NEW DELHI: IRCTC(Rs. 5976.97 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 3622.20 crore), RIL(Rs. 1923.70 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 1637.55 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1413.18 crore), TCS(Rs. 1158.43 crore), MindTree(Rs. 1017.90 crore), MCX India(Rs. 896.29 crore), Bandhan Bank(Rs. 878.36 crore) and Nazara Technologies Ltd.(Rs. 855.34 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 104.85 points up at 17895.2, while BSE Sensex rose 381.23 points to 60059.06.
In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 3.84 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent) and Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
