NEW DELHI: TCS(Rs. 2027.68 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1686.54 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 1066.73 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 740.63 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 641.31 crore), RIL(Rs. 550.81 crore), Infosys(Rs. 536.53 crore), SterlingWilson Solar(Rs. 536.49 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 342.35 crore) and HCL Tech(Rs. 308.02 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 70.05 points up at 17965.25, while BSE Sensex was up 180.61 points at 60239.67 as of 10:04AM(IST)on October 11.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 7.10 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 3.18 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 3.03 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.99 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 5.46 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) were among the top losers.
