Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 5.47%), Agro Phos(down 4.26%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.26%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.23%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.98%), National Fertilizer(down 1.66%), ZUARIAGRO(down 1.61%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.38%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.22%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.13%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 93.1 points up at 17988.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 253.79 points at 60312.85 at around 10:50AM.
Tata Motors(up 7.46%), Coal India(up 4.54%), Maruti Suzuki(up 3.12%), NTPC(up 2.76%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.7%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.61%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.42%), Eicher Motors(up 1.99%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.9%) and Hindalco Industries(up 1.77%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Consultancy(down 5.56%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.75%), Wipro(down 1.26%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.14%), Britannia Industries(down 0.44%), HCL Technologies(down 0.43%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.32%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.25%), Infosys(down 0.11%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.08%) were trading in the red.
