KIOCL(up 7.48%), Lexus Granito(up 4.92%), Coal India(up 4.86%), Oriental Trimex(up 3.33%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 3.17%), Pokarna(up 2.64%), NMDC Ltd(up 1.55%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.99%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.81%) and 20 Microns(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers.
Ashapura Minechem(down 1.74%) and Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 0.48%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 88.4 points up at 17983.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 231.75 points at 60290.81 at around 10:55AM.
Tata Motors(up 7.6%), Coal India(up 4.86%), NTPC(up 3.22%), Maruti Suzuki(up 3.04%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.93%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.76%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.41%), Eicher Motors(up 2.2%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.05%) and Grasim Industries(up 1.52%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Consultancy(down 5.56%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.82%), Wipro(down 1.37%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.17%), HCL Technologies(down 0.47%), Britannia Industries(down 0.42%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.35%), Infosys(down 0.23%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.21%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.12%) were trading in the red.
