According to data from Trendlyne, the ace investor made a fresh position in VRL Logistics as he purchased 12,07,632 equity shares or 1.37 per cent stake in the company in July-September period.
His stake in the company is worth Rs 48.9 crore as per Monday’s closing price of Rs 405.05 apiece. His name was not there in the key shareholders of the company during the June quarter.
Hubballi-based VRL Logistics, erstwhile known as Vijayanand Roadlines, is a homegrown conglomerate with operations in more than two dozen states and union territories in the country. It operates in sectors like road transportation, logistics and publishing.
Shares of VRL Logistics have more than doubled in the current calendar year thus far. The scrip has surged more than 160 per cent in the last one year.
Kacholia also made a new entry in multibagger stocks like Gateway Distriparks and Xpro India during the September quarter whereas increased stake in Safari Industries.
