NEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 3574.85 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 2346.42 crore), Tata Chemicals(Rs. 767.73 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 655.61 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 655.18 crore), Indian Energy Exchg(Rs. 616.47 crore), BHEL(Rs. 557.49 crore), M&M(Rs. 494.47 crore), Ashok Leyland(Rs. 438.93 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 401.66 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 113.85 points up at 18105.8, while BSE Sensex was up 289.1 points at 60573.41 as of 10:24AM(IST)on October 13.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 15.98 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 4.97 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.50 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.00 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent) were among the top losers.
