Dixon Technologies share price: Dixon gains 5% as it starts making 5G smartphones

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dixon Technologies gained 2.5% in early Mumbai trading on Monday, after the electronics manufacturing company said it had started making 5G millimeter waves smartphones.

At 09:25 hours (IST), shares of Dixon Technologies traded at Rs 5,647.65 on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.47%.

On Sunday, a senior official of the company said the 5G mm waves smartphones would be the first set of devices in the category to be exported from the country.

Dixon has set up a unit with annual capacity of 7 million 5G mm phones and is in the process of establishing another factory with a yearly capacity of 30 million smartphones in Noida.
