KIOCL(up 2.98%), 20 Microns(up 2.17%), MOIL(up 2.16%), NMDC Ltd(up 2.05%), Coal India(up 1.06%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.99%), Oriental Trimex(up 0.55%) and Pokarna(up 0.33%) were among the top gainers.
Ashapura Minechem(down 0.56%) and Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 0.06%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 161.2 points up at 18499.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 507.77 points at 61813.72 at around 10:30AM.
Tata Motors(up 4.71%), Hindalco Industries(up 4.34%), Titan Company Ltd(up 3.78%), JSW Steel(up 3.28%), Infosys(up 3.05%), Tata Steel(up 2.47%), ICICI Bank(up 2.42%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.36%), ITC(up 2.12%) and Maruti Suzuki(up 2.07%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 1.7%), HCL Technologies(down 1.67%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.94%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.67%), Cipla(down 0.58%), HDFC Bank(down 0.41%), Eicher Motors(down 0.39%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.23%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.23%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.09%) were trading in the red.
