Indiabulls Real Estate(up 8.84 per cent), DLF(up 1.02 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.77 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.7 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Godrej Properties(down 0.61 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.4 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.23 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.69 per cent at 542.95 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 165.55 points at 18504.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 501.91 points at 61807.86.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
