The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 49.54 points down at 61716.05, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 58.3 points down at 18418.75.
In the Nifty50 index, 16 stocks closed in the green, while 34 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., DRA Consultants, Speciality Rest, Bansal Roofing Prod. and L&T Infotech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Texel Ind(PP), JLAInfraville&Shop, Adishakti Loha and Ispat Ltd., Paos Industries and Arihant Tourne touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
