NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 456.09 points down at 61259.96 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kapil Raj Finance(down 19.30 per cent), Yug Decor(down 17.67 per cent), IRCTC(down 17.34 per cent), Shreeji Translogisti(down 15.13 per cent) and Unique Organics(down 14.20 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 11 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 152.15 points down at 18266.6.
On the BSE, Kapil Raj Finance, SBL Infratech Ltd., Texel Ind(PP), Joy Realty and Nutech Global hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Arihant Found, Gensol Engg, Transport Corp, Universal Autofoundr and Mukta Arts touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
