DLF(up 0.39 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.44 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.54 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.52 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.34 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.2 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.61 per cent at 512.95 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 12.7 points at 18406.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 9.68 points at 61725.73.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.
