Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.49%) and Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(down 0.80%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 0.7 points up at 18267.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 47.81 points at 61212.15 at around 10:04AM.
Indian Oil Corporation(up 3.29%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.57%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.32%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.93%), Eicher Motors(up 1.54%), Tata Motors(up 1.2%), HDFC(up 1.19%), Cipla(up 1.02%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.0%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.93%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra(down 2.27%), HCL Technologies(down 2.04%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.34%), Asian Paints(down 0.87%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.78%), ITC(down 0.71%), Reliance Industries(down 0.71%), Infosys(down 0.68%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.63%) and Wipro(down 0.6%) were trading in the red.
