NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Monday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, RTCL Ltd(13.04%), Bharat Agri Fert(12.15%), ICICI Bank(11.03%), IG Petrochem(10.77%), Ortin Labs(10.66%) and Dhanashree Electro(10.33%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 30.05 points up at 60851.67, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 15.5 points to 18099.4.
In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Bharat Agri Fert, ICICI Bank, Arihant Found, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd. and KEC Int. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Huhtamaki PPL, Texel Ind(PP), Vax Housing Fin, MPS Infotecnics and Sparkling(India)touched their new 52-week low in trade.
