NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 8.27 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 8.00 crore), ICICI Bank(number of shares traded: 5.91 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 5.90 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 5.52 crore), Federal Bank(number of shares traded: 4.99 crore), Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 4.65 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(number of shares traded: 3.84 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.03 crore) and Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 2.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:11AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 5.3 points down at 18109.6, while BSE Sensex was up 62.65 points at 60884.27 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 10.46 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 4.00 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.88 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.50 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.88 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
