Lupin Share Price: Share price of Lupin jumps as Sensex gains 87.4 points

The share price of Ltd. gained 0.27 per cent to Rs 930.1 at 01:11PM (IST) in Tuesday’s trade. The scrip has hit a high of Rs 940.0 and low of Rs 926.05 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 927.6 in the previous session.

The counter has had a total traded volume of 21766 shares so far with a value of Rs 2.03 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 25.54 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.36.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.



The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and reflects the price investors are willing to pay even for no growth in the business.

The scrip declined 3.44 per cent during the past one year, while the 30-share index advanced 50.39 per cent during the same period.

Promoters held 46.54 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2021, while foreign investors and domestic institutional investors ownership stood at 15.66 per cent and 13.33 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials

The firm reported consolidated net sales of Rs 4298.02 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, up 11.89 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 3841.32 crore and up 20.35 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 3571.14 crore.

Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 542.46 crore, up 407.45 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
