NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 383.21 points up at 61350.26 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Innovative Ideals(down 13.92 per cent), Chandrima Mercantile(down 10.00 per cent), Emerald Leasing Fin(down 10.00 per cent), GSB Finance(down 9.95 per cent) and Bothra Metals(down 9.93 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 143.0 points up at 18268.4.
On the BSE, SBL Infratech Ltd., Kapil Raj Finance, Dhruv Wellness, Palm Jewels and ThirdwaveFinIntrm hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bharat Agri Fert, Jindal Stainles, HG Infra Engg, Aptech and TCI Express touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
