KIOCL(up 2.87%), Ashapura Minechem(up 2.70%), Aro Granite Industries(up 2.21%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 1.65%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 1.61%), 20 Microns(up 1.14%), MOIL(up 0.82%), NMDC Ltd(up 0.21%) and Pokarna(up 0.02%) were among the top gainers.
Oriental Trimex(down 2.53%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 0.87%), Coal India(down 0.17%) and Pokarna(down 0.06%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 44.0 points up at 18169.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 62.19 points at 61029.24 at around 11:06AM.
Tech Mahindra(up 4.61%), Tata Motors(up 4.01%), Tata Steel(up 2.33%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.11%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.95%), Eicher Motors(up 1.85%), UPL Ltd(up 1.84%), SBI Life(up 1.75%), Grasim Industries(up 1.75%) and UltraTech Cement(up 1.63%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, ICICI Bank(down 1.66%), Axis Bank(down 1.65%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.09%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.97%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.91%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.76%), HDFC Bank(down 0.28%), Coal India(down 0.17%), Infosys(down 0.16%) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.16%) were trading in the red.
