Oriental Trimex(down 2.05%), Aro Granite Industries(down 0.61%) and Coal India(down 0.17%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 30.85 points up at 18299.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 67.92 points at 61418.18 at around 11:01AM.
Asian Paints(up 4.48%), Divis Laboratories(up 3.58%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 2.71%), SBI Life(up 2.21%), ICICI Bank(up 2.18%), State Bank of India(up 1.93%), Cipla(up 1.47%), UPL Ltd(up 1.44%), Shree Cement(up 1.35%) and Bharti Airtel(up 1.31%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 5.02%), Bajaj Finance(down 4.4%), Bajaj Finserv(down 2.39%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.36%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.29%), Tata Motors(down 0.8%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.59%), HDFC Bank(down 0.44%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 0.43%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.35%) were trading in the red.
