NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.22 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.70 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.69 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 1.40 crore), Lloyds Steels(numbers of share traded: 1.32 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 0.94 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 0.87 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 0.76 crore), Subex(numbers of share traded: 0.65 crore) and IRCTC(numbers of share traded: 0.65 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 185.6 points down at 17671.65, while BSE Sensex ended down 677.77 points at 59306.93.
On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.62 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 3.42 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 3.21 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.04 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 2.62 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
