Shree Cements Share Price: Shree Cements shares up 1.27% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ltd. traded 1.27 per cent up in Friday’s trade at 12:10PM (IST). Around 280 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 28185.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 28600.0 and Rs 27868.8, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Shree Cements Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 32050.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 20720.05.

Total market cap of the Shree Cements Ltd. stood at Rs 103084.68 crore at the time of writing this report.




Key Financials

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3775.94 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, down 12.86 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 4333.37 crore and down 44.86 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 2606.58 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 629.9 crore, up 91.11 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern

As of 30-Sep-2021, domestic institutional investors held 7.64 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 13.53 per cent and the promoters 62.55 per cent.

Valuation ratio

According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 39.86 and a price-to-book ratio of 6.91. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
