The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 831.53 points up at 60138.46, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 258.0 points up at 17929.65.
In the Nifty50 index, 46 stocks closed in the green, while 4 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Panchmahal Steel, Precision Wires, Starline Precious, Diggi Multitrade and RSWM Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Adishakti Loha and Ispat Ltd., Getalong Enterprises Ltd., K-Lifestyle Ind, ACE Edutrend and ThirdwaveFinIntrm touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
