NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 22.45 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 20.09 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.59 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 6.18 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 5.97 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 5.57 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 4.71 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.26 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.83 crore) and NALCO(numbers of share traded: 3.60 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 258.0 points up at 17929.65, while BSE Sensex ended up 831.53 points at 60138.46.
On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 2.72 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.43 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.32 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
