NEW DELHI: SAIL(number of shares traded: 11.93 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 10.95 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 2.91 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 2.22 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.01 crore), BHEL(number of shares traded: 1.71 crore), NALCO(number of shares traded: 1.63 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.47 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.42 crore) and Bandhan Bank(number of shares traded: 1.38 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:14AM in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 92.8 points up at 17764.45, while BSE Sensex was up 284.13 points at 59591.06 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.99 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.98 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.19 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While UPL Ltd.(down 3.87 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and Tata Motors Ltd.(down 0.60 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
