Euro India Fresh Foods(down 3.35%), Nakoda Group(down 2.50%), Zydus Wellness(down 1.87%), Jyothy Labs(down 1.56%), Tasty Bite Eatables(down 1.31%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 1.28%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.81%), Nestle India(down 0.61%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(down 0.39%) and Britannia Industries(down 0.29%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 70.7 points up at 17742.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 177.8 points at 59484.73 at around 11:22AM.
IndusInd Bank(up 5.24%), Bharti Airtel(up 4.76%), Hindalco Industries(up 3.47%), Tata Steel(up 3.45%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 3.45%), Grasim Industries(up 2.57%), HCL Technologies(up 2.36%), JSW Steel(up 1.82%), Coal India(up 1.64%) and UltraTech Cement(up 1.44%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, UPL Ltd(down 3.67%), Bajaj Finserv(down 3.12%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.52%), Bajaj Finance(down 1.41%), Reliance Industries(down 1.07%), Tata Motors(down 0.93%), ICICI Bank(down 0.9%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.84%), Nestle India(down 0.54%) and Larsen & Toubro(down 0.41%) were trading in the red.
