NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
RPP Infra Proj(PP)(up 35.5%), Walchand People(up 19.98%), K P Energy Ltd.(up 19.98%), Odyssey Tech(up 19.96%), Amco India(up 19.96%), Asian Tea Exp(up 19.95%) and Raw Edge Industrial(up 15.44%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 32.63 points up at 60171.09, while the 50-share index, NSE was 12.15 points up at 17941.8.
In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as RPP Infra Proj(PP), K P Energy Ltd., Amco India, Natural Capsule and Bella Casa Fashion hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bharti Airtel(PP), Bayer Cropsc., Sharanam Infra, Urbaknitt Fabs and Rajasthan Petro touched their new 52-week low during the session.
