The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 41.75 points up at 17915.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 104.74 points at 60024.43 at around 10:50AM.
HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.11%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.09%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.0%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.14%), Britannia Industries(up 1.09%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.06%), Infosys(up 1.02%), Wipro(up 0.98%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.83%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 2.14%), Tata Steel(down 1.6%), State Bank of India(down 1.02%), NTPC(down 0.84%), Tata Motors(down 0.57%), JSW Steel(down 0.48%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.46%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.44%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.41%) and Coal India(down 0.39%) were trading in the red.
