Global Infras(down 3.14%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 3.01%), JSW Energy(down 2.86%), PTC India(down 2.54%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(down 1.98%), Tata Power Company(down 1.27%), Voltamp Transformers(down 1.00%), NTPC(down 0.84%), CESC(down 0.71%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.49%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 55.85 points up at 17929.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 156.24 points at 60075.93 at around 11:01AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 2.26%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 2.02%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.01%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.43%), Infosys(up 1.12%), Wipro(up 1.11%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.11%), Britannia Industries(up 0.99%), Asian Paints(up 0.83%) and Bajaj Finserv(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 2.19%), Tata Steel(down 1.54%), NTPC(down 0.84%), State Bank of India(down 0.78%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.58%), Tata Motors(down 0.53%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.49%), Axis Bank(down 0.39%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.32%) and Shree Cement(down 0.24%) were trading in the red.
