The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 23.55 points up at 18126.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 95.68 points at 60782.37 at around 11:26AM.
UPL Ltd(up 2.67%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.45%), Hero MotoCorp(up 1.96%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.94%), Asian Paints(up 1.68%), Cipla(up 1.33%), ITC(up 1.05%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.93%), Infosys(up 0.78%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.71%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Coal India(down 3.53%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.7%), Tata Steel(down 1.5%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.32%), JSW Steel(down 1.32%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.14%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.94%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.85%), SBI Life(down 0.84%) and Bajaj Finance(down 0.83%) were trading in the red.
