NEW DELHI: Apollo Hospital(Rs. 3664.85 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2575.39 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 1952.72 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1469.91 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1297.38 crore), RIL(Rs. 1167.60 crore), ITC(Rs. 1125.28 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1075.75 crore), SBI(Rs. 1025.08 crore) and PB Fintech Ltd.(Rs. 998.20 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 100.55 points down at 17898.65, while BSE Sensex fell 314.04 points to 60008.33.
In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.97 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.79 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 2.49 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 3.13 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
