Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 7.05 points to 17992.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Network People Services Technologies Ltd., Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Vikas WSP, Supreme Infra and Vikas Proppant & Gr, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 23 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, Tata Motors, Power Grid, Asian Paints and NTPC were among top gainers, while UPL, Grasim Inds., Divis Labs, RIL and Adani Ports SEZ traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 10.42 points up at 60332.79 at 11:21AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Hospitals & Allied Services, Aquaculture, Apparels, Glass and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was visible in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Fertilisers sectors.
