Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(down 3.05%) and Balrampur Chini Mills(down 0.09%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 38.95 points down at 17377.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 231.97 points at 58233.92 at around 10:45AM.
JSW Steel(up 3.52%), Tata Steel(up 2.75%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.32%), Coal India(up 2.23%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.62%), Britannia Industries(up 1.32%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.3%), Tata Motors(up 1.24%), NTPC(up 1.19%) and Hindalco Industries(up 1.1%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 2.57%), Infosys(down 2.04%), Asian Paints(down 1.79%), Reliance Industries(down 1.44%), ICICI Bank(down 1.12%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 1.06%), Shree Cement(down 0.9%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.72%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.63%) and SBI Life(down 0.51%) were trading in the red.
