NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 23.15 crore), Tata Power(number of shares traded: 3.60 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 3.40 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.37 crore), Reliance Comm(number of shares traded: 3.26 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 2.66 crore), IOB(number of shares traded: 1.89 crore), Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 1.85 crore), Central Bank(number of shares traded: 1.76 crore) and Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 1.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 70.05 points up at 17573.4, while BSE Sensex was up 217.22 points at 58881.55 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 5.38 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 4.23 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.40 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.97 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
